Blog Bojan Schipner
Hi people,
I know you haven‘t heard of me in a long time but I had so much stuff to do in the last couple of weeks. Crazy!
Since I‘m back in the U.S. I ski a lot and I mean a lot!!! I ski 4 to 5 times a day and then I have to go and work out for another 1.5 hours. I‘m so tired after this all that I just plop down on the couch and fall asleep.
Anyways... I‘ve been to the Grand Opening of the brand new JOBE STORE in Orlando. This store is so sick and has a nice style and a nice manager ;) They know everything about watersports! I helped out at the grand opening and gave people information about the different Jobe slalom skis. Well guys... I have to tell you that the new Rogue is so insane. I love that thing! It pushes my limits more and more and I get better and better every set I ride it. I never had more fun slaloming than on this one... Jobe made a really good ski I think. Thanks for that!
Besides my whole skiing I did a lot of other things. I went to Daytona Beach and SeaWorld. Crazy America! Everything is better and bigger, except for one thing… When you go to a supermarket and get groceries they put everything in separate bags! What a waste of plastic!
Today my new Jobe equipment like shorts and handles arrived in Germany. As soon as I’m back in Germany I will check it out and will let you guys know asap!
So anything else to say? I guess not... That‘s all what I‘m doing right now. Skiing, Gym, enjoying my time in Florida and the non-stop sunny days! :)
So have a good time doing what you do!

Hello People,
I know you guys haven‘t heard of me in a long time. But why? I can tell you... Nothing happened in good old Germany. A lot of work out to get fit for the season and some studying, hanging out with friends and helping my parents where I can. THAT‘S IT! Boring isn‘t it?
But soon something important will happen. I will fly back to the states in two weeks. And the best thing: I‘m part of the GRAND OPENING of the first Jobe Sports store in the U.S.A. in Orlando.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
It‘s going to be so exciting and I am happy to be there and help where I can.
After that I will be at the Franz Ski School where I ski and train with Coach and friend Franz Oberleitner. It will be a fun time, because it is the life I want to live for the rest of my life. I hope there will be nice weather and I will make some progress in my skiing.
I also compete in some competitions and hope that I can get a wild card for the U.S. Masters which is one of the biggest events in water-skiing.
So people! When you are in Florida around March to April come around and see the store and if you want to have some skiing practice in deep Florida, just text me on Facebook or Twitter and write me an email.
Keep in touch! Bojan

Why is everything so grey? Who invented this time of the year. Autumn or winter! Nobody needs that... I guess anyone who‘s reading that blog doesn‘t like winter because we‘re all watersport addicts.
So what is our season? Right: Summer. I can‘t wait to have that warm water and hot air again... Today I talked to Daphne from Jobe and she told me that she‘s sending me my new ski. It‘s going to be a sick ski because blue is my favourite colour and also blue bindings! YES!!! :)
That is the best Christmas present you can get. Anyway! I will test that ski the week after Christmas because than I will fly over to Florida to see my coach Franz Oberleitner and then I will let you people know what I think about my new baby!
Franz told me last week that they have the hottest winter since 20 years...! I guess there is no grey weather and it‘s not cold. So I guess the summer is coming earlier for me than expected. Hell yeah!
Alright!!! To all Jobe athletes and all people who like Jobe or reading this blog. I wish you a merry Christmas and as we call it in Germany: “A good slide into the new year!” :P
Have a good time with family and friends and have fun chilling at home!

Here we go again. It‘s the time of year where nobody wants to go out and ski. Yuck! Too cold, too windy and toooooo dark... The last couple of days it was so depressing because in my hometown (Feldberg) we had the worst fog in years.... It’s no fun to wake up in the a.m. and look outside and see this „beautiful“ weather!
Anyway, what to do with this unnecessary time you have when you can‘t ski. WORKOUT!
What I do is work out in the gym or outside. There are a lot of good workouts for a slalom skier to be confident for the next season.
I prefer squads, bench-press, pull-ups, sit-ups, leg extension, hamstrings, butt exercises, every exercise for the back and anything which supports the muscles for water-skiing.
I‘m also having lessons and exams in being a Fitness coach. I graduated in my B-License. So I‘m an official Fitness coach which helps me a lot to see and improve in techniques of my exercises.
It‘s funny to walk into the Studio every day or every second day and see people work out the wrong way. I always help them and tell them how to do it the right way.
If anyone is interested check out my homepage and write me an email. I always like new exercises. If anyone knows something let me know.
I tell you people. If you don‘t want to get on the water next year and can‘t walk or talk the next 3 days. I know the way to stop that.
Have fun working out!

My Name is Bojan Schipner. Official Member of the Jobe International team, extreme waterskier and ambitious slalom skier. I was born in Feldberg (Germany) and I ski since 21 years. Today I want to talk about why I like skiing and especially slalom skiing with my Jobe Rogue Slalom ski.
What is Slalom Skiing? Is Slalom skiing to run the course with a lot of speed or with a short rope? As short as possible? Is Slalom skiing to make turns and get the biggest spray of them all? Or is just the freedom to take the ski and ski wherever you are?
For me slalom skiing is for sure one of my best events in 3-event skiing but it is also something different. It is elegant and stylish! It is cool and totally different! Besides, you have to be strong and experienced to be a good slalom skier. Ok I am a professional slalom skier but the thing I like the best in slalom skiing is, when you wake up in the morning, the sun is bright and shining, the thermometer tells you it is warm, you come to the lake and it is glassy flat, no wakes and no wind. You warm up the boat and you already can feel it in your bones and muscles that this is the perfect time to get your Jobe Rogue slalom ski, jump in the water and just enjoy the moment. It is just you, the water and an amazing slalom ski which you take control of.
This feeling you get there is just unbelievable. I am so lucky, happy and proud that I can live it. You can hear the spray when you turn. You can see the reflection of the buoys in the water and you and your ski are one. I‘m telling everybody that this is the best thing ever. It is better than anything else on the planet. People. I can tell you. I tried a lot of things, but Slalom skiing brings me down from all the stress around me and all problems fade away.
You have to try it or you never really can say that you found your sport for you or that this is nothing for you. Everybody can learn it and everybody WILL have fun doing it. I promise!
