Training sessions for the World Cup, Australia

By:Nancy Chardin
Hey!

After a great month in France, I'm back to school in Louisiana. I've been pretty busy since I came back. I have a lot of classes this semester and I had to find an internship for this semester. I finally found one, I'll start working next Saturday in a hotel. Since I'm not American, I had to fill in so many papers in order to be able to work legally in the US.

I recently received some good news, I am invited to participate at a World Cup in Australia in March. I better get ready for this tournament! Luckily the weather has been pretty nice in Louisiana, it's been around 20°C / 25°C, so I already started skiing. I did a couple of slalom and trick sets. I started jumping last week end. It feels nice to be back on the water so early in the season.

I now have 5 weeks to get ready for this World Cup, so I'm going to ski and workout as much as I can. I go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and ski almost every day depending on the skiing conditions. At the beginning it's hard to be motivated to go to the gym but once you get the rhythm it's alright. It feels so much easier now, I don't get tired as fast as when I started working out.

I'll bring my Gopro and my camera to Australia and I'll try to show you the best moments of the tournament.

Cheers,

Nancy
