the small side chamber (textile cover) is unfortunately full of water even if the zipper is closed after inflating, which means that the device becomes heavy and sinks slightly, which means that it glides badly on the water and increases fuel consumption massively. the device can then hardly be lifted out of the water after the ride until you can open the zipper and let the water run off. from my point of view a blatant design flaw. so far i had funtubes from sevylor and ron marks which were cheaper and not of as solid a quality as the job undoubtedly is. but it is easier to lie in the sun with this job than to drive it. the others before (sevylor, marks) were easy to ride until they had to be mended. lightweights! To be honest, I prefer that to an anchor like this one.
