| The Jobe "Illustrious" - By Ben Sterzenbach In December 2009 Jobe had organised the first Wakeboard Design Contest. Jobe invited everyone to participate in this contest and has received a massive amount of entries. The German Ben Sterzenbach eventually became the lucky winner and won his very own wakeboard with his ‘Illustrious’ design. The ‘Illustrious’ has also been added to Jobe’s 2011 collection as well. For the ‘Illustrious’ design, Ben was inspired by the summer season: “Summer to me is ice creams! Besides that I find the wakeboard scene very cheerful and colourful. I have combined these associations in my design. I designed colourful ice creams with happy faces which resulted in the perfect combination!” according to the lucky winner. |
