Starting out just playing around on the water with his family, clinging on to towables and learning how to waterski at the age of 6, progressing on to slalom skiing, Paul eventually started wakeboarding at 12 years old.
Since then he has represented Ireland at every European Championships since 2007 (scoring some individual and team medals along the way) and the World Championships from 2007-2015.
Paul has trained, competed and coached all over the World.
In 2019 Paul was busy chasing podium finishes on the IWWF European Pro Tour and taking the Overall Tour Win. He also took 2nd at the Irish National Boat Championships and took the win at the Irish National Cable Championships.
Now Paul is the Riders Representative to the European Boat Wakeboard Council and hopes to push Wakeboarding for the better!!
