Summer is around the corner and that means it’s time to discover new beautiful places all over the world! For those of you who own a boat, we’ve made a list with 5 spots which are totally worth visiting with your yacht! Get the most of the freedom a yacht gives you.  

1. The Croatian Coastline

Last years, the Croatian coastline has gained lots of popularity and grew out of Europe’s top yacht charter locations. The coastline of Croatia is about 1.700 kilometers wide and it contains over 1.200 (!) islands around it. Only 50 of those 1.200 islands are inhabited, so, there is enough to discover in the beautiful Croatia 😉
Thanks to the huge amount of small islands, the Kvarner Gulf and Split Islands are perfect for ‘island hopping’! Hopping from island to island gives you the ultimate feeling of freedom, and Croatia has the perfect islands to do this. Hvar, Starigrad, Jelsa, Split and Brac are beautiful places which are definitely worth visiting!
One of the smallest inhabited island is Losinj. The harbor of this location is very recognizable thanks to the dozens of colored houses around it. Losinj hasn’t got a lot of activities to do, but the nature is absolutely stunning and there’s also a big chance you can see dolphins swimming over there!

2. The Sicilian coast

Around the 1.030 kilometer long coastline of Sicily you will also find lot’s of beautiful islands and beach resorts were you can enjoy your perfect sunny holiday.
Sicily offers an unlimited amount of nice things you could do on your yachting holiday. Adventurous people can head over to the wide natural landscapes, visit the Segesta temple or even climb on the Etna volcano! Sicily also offers caves, cathedrals, theatres, big cliffs and ofcourse… the lovely Italian cuisine!

3. The French Riviera

Another – even bigger - hotspot in the Mediterranean Sea is the famous French Riviera. The impressive scenery of the luxurious lifestyle is what makes this place so unique. In cities like Cannes, Monte Carlo and Nice you will see the biggest yachts, the most expensive stores and exclusive restaurants.
But the French Riviera also gives you the opportunity to escape from this hectic lifestyle. 4. British Virgin islands

The British Virgin Islands will give you the true paradise feeling. Crystal clear waters, beautiful rock formations, perfect beaches, lots of tropical islands, a wide scale of on shore activities and a excellent selection of dining places.
Anegada is the most northern located island and its also one of the bigger islands of the Virgin Islands. A beautiful location with powdery white sand beaches and… Huge colonies of pink flamingos! How cool is that!

5. The Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands, another perfect spot for beautiful weather, exotic aqua life and warm waters. In contrast to the French Riviera, the Balearic islands are way more accessible. This area doesn’t offer you the extreme luxurious lifestyle but it gives you beautiful nature.
And for those who like to party… This is where you need to be. You can find Ibiza and Mallorca in the Balearic Islands for example 😉 All day partying = guaranteed!
