Jobe @ The Wake Games, Orlando

12 april 2012
The largest wakeboard teamed event in the world kicks off the season. From the 11th until the 14th of April the Wake Games takes place at the Orlando Watersports Complex, Orlando, FL. This contest teams amateur wake athletes with the top professional riders in the sport.

As Jobe Athlete Austin Hair is privileged to be one of the team captains, Jobe couldn’t be missing at this event! Come over and visit the Jobe stand during the four-day-long contest.

Ten preselected team captains will host a live draft to field a team with a mix of male and female, pro and amateur riders. Each athlete will compete in their respective division, which is separated by age and skill level, while contributing points toward a team score based on their individual placement in that division. All 22 divisions will crown a winner, and the team with the highest total score will take home the team title.

The Nautique Wake Games will host qualifying rounds during its first two days of action, before the 10 captains draft their teams on Thursday evening. Teams will begin accumulating points on Friday and continue through Saturday, when a winning team will be determined.

We wish Austin all the best!
