Jobe athlete Jason Young on his road to national championship!

Last weekend saw the 3rd round of the British Championship being held in the picturesque location of Cholmondeley, Cheshire. An ideal setting for all petrol heads to get together and share stories.

Current SKI GP champion and Jobe athlete Jason Young was once again looking to continue his rich vein of form and further stretch his lead at the top of the Championship and he didn’t let his travelling supporters down. With a scheduled 3 races over the weekend, the Champney Springs rider had a steady start to the weekend with a 2nd place, but with some gremlins in his first choice race craft, he decided to switch onto his back up ski and never looked back from there. Jason performance very convincing and proved his rivals they are going to have to work to get the title from the Scotsman’s grip.

So onwards and upwards now with a 13 point lead in the Championship it is still a close run season. With confidence high in the Team 88 camp, he moves onto the next round at Crosby Marine in Liverpool on the 12th and 13th July. Then he needs to start heading south from that race moving straight onto the 2nd Round of the European Championship which is being held in Austria.
