Maxine Sapulette World Champion

From the 7th until the 10th of December the Wake Park World Championships took place at the Al Forsan Wakepark in Abu Dhabi (Dubai). The 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships was the final stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series 2011 season and the 1st cable wakeboard contest in the Middle-East.

Sixteen divisions of pro and amateur riders competed for the top honours at Al Forsan of Abu Dhabi. Jobe pro wakeboard riders Maxine Sapulette, Declan Clifford and Christian Koester participated in this big championship.

Maxine Sapulette amazed the world and became World Champion. After three months recovering from an injury and only one week preparation this is a great achievement. Jobe rider Declan Clifford took 6th place in the Pro Men’s l category. Unfortunately Christian Koester did not make it to the Finals of the Wake Park World Championships.
