Wild water SUP

23 february 2018
Wild water SUP

Recently I’ve been noticing an increase in demand for multi-purpose SUP boards. Uses for these boards include windsurfing, wave surfing but also (wild) river SUP-ing. To provide a suitable Jobe board for these activities as well, I’ve been working on a wild water SUP! I’ve started out with doing research on the shape of the board. This is quite essential, as the shape needed will be dependent on the board’s use. Because I’m aiming to make this board as versatile as possible, picking the right shape will be challenging and will probably take some trial and error to get right. Next item on the agenda will be determining the extra features the board will need. Additional handles to easily climb on, for example. Or a windsurf insert, so the board can be equipped with a sail.

As you can read, it’s still a work in progress, but be assured I’m working hard to introduce this sturdy all-rounder to you next year!
