Our most recent sponsor-project is Outdoor Outreach. Outdoor Outreach is a local non-profit that opens the outdoors to San Diego kids from low-income communities.

Founded in 1999, Outdoor Outreach has served more than 9,000 young people through adventure-based youth development programs that connect underserved and at-risk youth to the transformative power of the outdoors. Each year, Outdoor Outreach provides approximately 400 outdoor recreation, environmental education and stewardship outings in and around San Diego County, breaking down barriers to the outdoors for 1,200+ youth from low-income, urban communities. Through joy-filled activities like surfing, rock climbing, mountain biking, stand-up paddle boarding and snorkeling, Outdoor Outreach provides positive opportunities and supports that allow participants to find and apply their strengths, and develop a new narrative of what they can do and be…
