New tube update

Hi all! Remember last month’s post about the “shady new tube”? Well, I’ve got an update for you! A few weeks ago I went on a trip to our tube manufacturer, where I tested a first sample of the new tube. These tests are mainly used to examine how the tube reacts to the water forces, but also to see if this product can be used in the way we intended: tubing and chilling. Based on the tests, which showed good results, I chose to implement some changes regarding the tube’s size and proportions. Next step in the process is choosing the right materials and designs. Hopefully I can share a full picture of the tube with you soon!
