Wakeboard talent Tommy Swaan joins the Jobe team!

Jobe can proudly announce they have added Tommy Swaan to their wakeboard team. This 17 year old talented guy is working hard in bringing his wakeboard skills into a higher level.

When he was only 4 years old, Tommy started with water skiing. From the age of 10 he frequently made it to the stage. His curiosity about wakeboarding, made him start in this discipline 2 years ago. With great success! With only 2 months of wakeboarding experience, Tommy took the 2nd place in the Dutch Championships in 2009.

Last year Tommy put himself on the map. He became 2nd in the Dutch Championships and 2nd in the Open men category of the Protest Cable Call (WWA tour stop). These performances haven’t gone unnoticed by the popular water sports brand Jobe by whom Tommy was contacted.

Tommy is very happy with his new sponsor contract and is very proud to be part of the Jobe team: “When I heard I have been officially added to the Jobe wakeboard team, I was relieved and very happy at the same time! From that moment I knew I had made a big step in the beginning of my wakeboard career! Last season has been a good warming-up for me, but now I am ready to push it to the limit!” tells Tommy Swaan.

Tommy will be in Thailand the next 2 months for a very intensive training session. Jobe will provide him with the necessary wakeboard equipment for training sessions and for competing in competitions.
