Product feels solid, floats, whistles, and will fit any watercraft and Yamaha outboard steering in any case; no doubt on more boats. You can choose whether you want the Velcro cord (very strong - gives more confidence than the original Yamaha neoprene strap you get with a Waverunner) around your wrist or ankle, or the clip that cord to your body, instead hanging directly from your vest, so that you have the least possible impact in every situation. The 'clamp' is made of plastic and I have reservations about that: if the 'clamp' breaks without that the stop cord is pulled loose, you have a problem. It feels very strong, but practice shows that UV and plastic do not go well together over time. In any case, keeping the cord out of direct sunlight will undoubtedly prolong its life, but as soon as I start to see the familiar, whitish rash, I will no longer use the cord. (If Jobe has tested for UV influence, I will gladly agree recommended for the test results)
