Watersports for everyone with a Jobe Bridle

19 september 2018
How to tow when my boat has an outboard motor? A valid question that is often asked. The answer is simple: use a bridle. Here’s a quick explanation how it works.

What is a bridle?

A bridle basically is a ‘V’-shaped line that transforms two towing points on each side of the boat to a central towing point that you need to perform watersports. The first step is to connect two carabiner clips to the two D-rings at the back of your boat. After that, all you need to do is connect the rope or your handle to the other end of the bridle. Now you’re ready to perform your favorite watersport like waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding or towing towable tubes.

The bridle distributes the load equally between the D-rings on your boat to prevent overload on one of the rings.

Important to note is that the bridle floats. This prevents it from getting stuck in the propeller of your outboard motor.

Find the bridle of your liking below and we’ll see you on the water!
