How we construct our lightweight bamboo SUP’s

Our bamboo SUP are very lightweight and they need to! Nobody likes carrying a heavy SUP board around when the sun is out. Instead, we want you to save your energy to paddle and discover new places!

Our bamboo SUPs are made with the latest construction methods and techniques. The core is made of the lightest possible EPS foam which is the main reason for the board’s weight. We laminate the core with a 4 ounce fiberglass layup than bamboo and on top of that fiberglass again. This results in an 8 ounce fiberglass layup on the top and bottom and even double that amount, 16 ounce, on the sides. This makes the boards sides super strong and durable! Add to that the special railsaver tape that comes with Jobe bamboo SUPs, and there you have it: a super strong and ultra-light SUP-board!
