Jobe barefoot rider Mathijs in Florida, part two!

Jobe barefoot team member Mathijs Zielman is on a training trip to Florida. We have just received his second report of the trip. Check it out....

2nd day: improvements and alligators
Thursday we skied in the morning on Lake Howard and it was the first time that a barefooter skied on this. Mathijs trained on turns en did a lot of improvement with coach Paul mc Donald. The so called “back to front” (you turn from backwards position to front skiing position) was much better! Eddie did a “back toe” on his bare feet on both sides and also trained on some other turns with some hard falls.



During skiing we saw some alligators close to the boat. Paul even had to drive the boat through the weed to scare them off!! In the evening we skied with Dan Baumgartner and trained on turns and “back toe holds” on another lake. On this lake we saw even more (small) alligators



We are still able-bodied without any casualties! We try to keep it that way!
